"Pahoe" Personifies Beauty in Movement
Our "Pahoe" Cold Cast Statuette by Kim Taylor Reece captures the grace and movement of a female (wahine) hula dancer. She wields a canoe paddle in a traditional dance honoring the sea. It’s made using a cold cast technique with resin and bronze powder. Named after the Hawaiian word for "lava flow," the "Pahoe" sculpture embodies the flow of dynamic human energy frozen in time.
